  1. What should've happened is they should have 1 Captain and the rest are sidekicks like the last game that way it adds more length to the game as you aren't experiences half the cast in Just 1 game

  2. Luckily I don’t pay much attention to their reviews. This seemed a bit biased. IGN and Nintendo Life review was more fairly evaluated

  3. like other sports games on switch, the game seems extremely barebones…like, the graphics, gameplay and ost is solid but the game is really lacking in the content department

  4. The gameplay is excellent. Everything else is bare bones. I mean, look at Smash, a game filled with endless characters, stages and content. Then you have Battle League, with a few characters, tournament mode and exhibition mode. That's all we get.

  5. thanks! i was going to buy this but after mario golfs bare minimum release i knew that soccer would do the same. ill just stick to the gamecube one

  6. This game is a large step backwards from charged and the OG. The controls are bad and they added too much complication to the core gameplay.

  8. Genius review. Instead of just saying "the game is super repetitive", they just repeat the same lines twice to really let the repetitive nature of the game sink in.

  9. Nintendo has already announced future FREE DLC for the game and will be adding characters. I wonder why this wasn't noted in the review itself…..

  10. Wait has Mario sports games ever had a career mode? I can't recall and shouldn't be a criteria or a measure. Also, the projectile note stating that banana, shells l, and bombs only serve as a projectile is redundant. They've been the same since Mario Kart for snes Banana can be dropped or thrown at an arc, green shekels bounce, red shells follow, and Bob ombs have aoe. Not sure why being different was an expectation
