Rykard was close to rabbi and if albinaurics and their use come from the royal academy then it would prove obvious that the descendants of that family (which hold to the ideals of that family unlike rhadan who kind of sided with the golden order) would have and use Albinaurics

My quick theories on Rennala. She discovered Spirit summoning when she was a young astrologer in the north. That's where the Spirit calling snails come from. It's this spirit calling that brought the Golden host to a standstill, because Rennala herself is not a champion a fact reflected in the boss fight. She constantly retreats never advances.
