  1. what would have been the greatest showcase would be if everything that was done on the presentation stage thing was fully animated. Tha would have been wild.

  2. This is absolutely incredible software, but also inspires creeping dread in me. I hate the homogenisation of creativity, and the encouragement of corporations to take an easy route instead of working hard to make your own way and truly create something as an individual, yet you cannot argue with how an engine and library such as this throws open the doors to so many that may not have tried, or not had the means to try otherwise, and I do think accessibility is a wonderful thing. I am very conflicted.

  5. Sad thing is that "certain" developers/publishers won't use the full extent of Unreal Engine 5, they'll still rush their games resulting in bugs etc just to make a quick buck

  7. These guys need way more recognition and respect making all this stuff free for use so we can get better games and get them quicker because of all the free assets they include aswell truly legends.

  8. Sure the tech looks impressive but… Putting in the time, creativity, innovation and effort to create a unique game to stand the test of time > easier, quicker, randomly generated environments & ready to use assets. As a games developer said, contemporary games rely too much on the technology.
