  1. Lol, are they gonna have white voices in gaming? Before you get pissy, I'm black myself.

There is a bigotry in being over helpful. To respect someone or a group is to treat them like everyone else.

  2. Weren’t they showing that court thing to see if that Jackson chic was voted just because she was black or not some Activists first black judge lolzs

  4. this whole thing sounds horribly racist. turn it on its ear — how would it be if games were highlighted specifically because they were developed by White developers or featuring White protagonists? as long as we keep pigeonholing people, racism is going to exist because it won't matter how good a developer is, you want to feature him because of his skin colour.

  5. This kind of preachy bs reminded me that I was still subbed to this dumpsterfire of a channel. Glad I got the notification- it reminded me to unsubscribe.

  6. How to make the world more racist? Ah yes, let's divide the actors by skin colour instead of just accepting their acting as normal.

Imagine the outrage if this was done for white people. The point being, gaming is for people of ALL colors and backgrounds. Having events like this for "black only", "asian only" or even "white only" is just complete stupidity. It is creating unnecessary segregation in a medium that already accepts people of all color. America, why are you like this? lol

  8. Honestly not sure what the point of this is. Are black gamers and creators facing some uphill battle? Of course there are black voices in gaming. Why are we celebrating it…?

  9. Appreciate this GameSpot. In America where black people have usually been overshadowed in many industries dominated by white males, this shows that there is representation for black Americans in the American gaming industry. May be tough for those outside of the US and younger audience to understand the lingering effects of systemic racism in America, but appreciate you shedding a light on something that will inspire other young black people to follow a career path in the industry.
