Evolution of the M16 in Call of Duty
The iconic M16 assault rifle has been in more than a dozen Call of Duty games. Let’s take a look back at how it’s evolved over the series’ history.
The M16 assault rifle is no stranger to the Call of Duty series. In this trip down memory lane, Richie Bracamonte takes you back through COD…
Hey everyone! Thanks for checking our video! Let me know what gun you'd like to see next time 🙂 Enjoy!
I love that Arthur flashback reference.
Blacl ops series m16 still makes me uncomfortable
usually overpowered in COD, but I personally never go the hang of the rythm of the burst.
It was bullshit how they droped it down to a 3 round burst same as the Aug
Credit where credit's due to Sledgehammer for depicting the most realistic rendition of the sights, by having the rear aperture sight be actually low enough to be protected by the "ears" of the carry handle.
(P.S. I know the modelers change the sights to be easier to use, but still it irks me to see it sticking out so far up.)
Cod 4 m16 with blue tiger and red dot, unstoppable
I hate that in multiplayer, the M16 is always portrayed as only having 3 round burst capability.
It's fully automatic in Cold War's campaign, but god forbid it being full auto in multiplayer.
Same for the original Modern Warfare.
Pretty much goes for all CoD games it is in…
I like how they kept naming the Pack a punched M16 something with skull
The 20 round magazine in CW hurts, considering BO1 had the same mistake.
finally a proper gameplay for cod mobile
In cold war the Zombies and MP m16 isn’t pretty, but campaign M16A1 its my favorite, I hope Treyarch adds that skin yo the MP and Zombies XM4 to have it Full Auto
The right arm of the American man
I really hate how the M16 is so done so wrong all of the time in COD. Whether it be a 20 round mag holding 30, or how the a4 is full auto in cod 4 campaign. Also that for some reason the largest aperture rear sight is always the one used. I remember when Cod used to try to be historically accurate. COD 1 and 2, great games other than not being able to reload the Garand until you shot of all 8 rounds.
The actual M16a1 couldn't actually fire a 3 round burst lol
fully automatic would make this gun great in multiplayer
Forgot Modern warfare 2019 you have to make it but its still there
The cod4 red dot will always be more broken than my heart
Tf that fov in cold war
Love the vidie
good work! surprised you remembered the black ops II and Call of duty Mobile M16s. Would you kindly do the AK-47 assault rifle and/or M1911 pistol next please?
Lol in battlefield for any gun which is way more real guns than even modern warfare u can switch any gun to auto semi auto or burst except for snipers and tac rifles and all the burst tac rifles were able to toggle fire
3:31 is perfect
the kar98k just so you have to go through a lot of games.
Wait so there's no M16 in Modern Warfare 2019???
Evolution of the M14. Appeared in CoD4, MW2, BO, MW3, BO2, Ghosts, AW, BO3, IW, MWR, BO4, MW, MW2CR, BOCW and WZ (BOCW variant). It appeared in every non-WW2 CoD game.
Is sgt Foley based on Captain Foley??? Like with Price???
Ironically, I imagine everyone at Gamespot is for Biden 😂
This is so well made!
Cold War M16 with full-auto would be a monster in multiplayer
God I love the M16, especially the 'A2.
IW never managed to make their M16s look authentic. Treyarch did a better job with that, especially in CW, but they fucked up the mag sizes and the rear sight apertures are always way too big. Also, what I hate is that the front sight disappears when you mount optics. That looks bad.
i hate infinite warfare's M16
What about in mw 2019 they have a m16 m4 blueprint
1:01 the best part
The problem I have with the M16 is how they fit 30 rounds into a 20 round mag, and of course the M16 in BO1 is supposed to be full auto since the M16A2 or M16A4 did not come around that time
M16A4 style 🤘🏽
Cold War made the m16 sound like a peashooter
How you get the M16 on cod mw3 campaign?
Just realized in making my carton M16 I made the sight wrong 🙁
