  1. They missed an epic chance on this series. Sure the British dude is okay, but the producers should have done this with an American at an American museum of firearms. Then we would not only have an expert on the guns he's talking about, but ALSO and expert on having ACTUALLY used the gun! He could explain recoil, muzzle velocity, the stuff we want to know. Americans already know the guns, but with so much anti-gun talk many younger Americans are being robbed of the opportunity to shoot a firearm. This data is more important in understanding the guns itself. Having a guy talk about a recoil, and having a guy show you recoil are two different worlds. In fact most people would probably be disillusioned when they saw how uneventful a bullet impact, regardless of caliber, is.

  2. What I actually love of this guy (apart from his smirks and humour) is that he CAN recognise that there are some choices made by developers to keep an in game balance and that it is "fiction". It's clearly refreshing to see after all those experts "reaction" videos.

Yep a beer is the bare minimum I would get for this guy and for sure I will visit the museum and the souvenir shop it has when I will be around Leeds.

  3. I would love him to tell us his favorite guns in videogames. In whatever era, whatever game, whatever reason. Just what his favorite game guns are and why.

  4. All tactiCOOL reasons aside, the Wick-Flick is also useful bc by flickin your useless empty mag way the hell over there, u end up w one less object on the ground at your feet.

  5. Thanks Jonathan! Good review.
"Steerable" bullets and projectiles always stall in the development stage because it is so difficult to fit the electronic systems in the small size of a bullet and then survive the rather harsh excellaration of being fired. Maybe one day it will be possible, as Jonathan said "in the future".

  6. Do they show Jonathan all the weapons and he pauses at the interesting ones?
Was curious what he'd think of the Quasar tech revolver, but maybe he didn't think much of it.

  7. You should always HK slap it. Just because it looks and feels cool. But honestly the fastest way is to just tap it with your thumb as you go to put your hand on the forend. But that doesn't look cool.

  8. I would love to see a review of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's weaponry. The weapons can be seen in 3rd and 1st person view as well as the model viewer which offer a close look at the highly detailed & realistic models. It would be interesting to see what Jonathan thinks of them as there are a lot of guns that are a combination of existing firearms as well as a selection of more fantastical weapons.

    Thank You for your work!

I get a vast amount of entertainment from these videos. <3

  9. "I imagine theres a choice of buckshot, slug, different ammunition…"
No… No unfortunately this game doesn't go so far as to have thought of different ammo types.

  10. So one gun has a reload sequence popularized by Neo, and using what is now called "the Wick Flick"…. in a game with Keanu in it? That has to be intentional

  11. It's a shame they didn't look at more scifi gun concepts like the Zhuo and the Palica, where they don't even have a traditional barrel. Or the Chao which has metalstorm style barrel that's also the magazine.
