  1. I don't want to burst Gamespot's bubble but nobody worth their salt "saved the chainsaw for bigger demons" in Doom 2016. Chainsawing weak zombies to refill ammo to Gauss the big boys was always the preferred strat, you do NOT want to rush a Hell Knight or a Pinky to saw them in half on higher difficulties…

  2. As someone who enjoys both genres, i’m really torn.

Do I get Animal Crossing first or Doom?

I’ll end up getting both in the end but with my money and time right now, I only have time for one.

  3. Slomo when switching weapons.
    Ammo and health overkill
    Overpowered shotgun
I really want the new DOOM to be a succes, but im afraid they focussed more on mainstream gamers who cant handle a challenge.

  4. Isn’t it Gib not jib? As in insta-gib, circa probably earlier than unreal tournament using it. As in turning someone into giblets. Then again maybe it’s a cultural difference.

  5. How big are the gaps between difficulty levels? I’m kinda 50/50 on doing a rerun with the next difficulty but I don’t wanna have to buy a new controller if I’m gonna launch mine across the room

  6. The game isn't hard to beat on ultra violence or ultra nightmare but it's hard to beat the game with drifting thumbsticks especially if the one for moving around has a mind of it's own just unwilling to move forward because it keeps trying to move backwards or left. I know the easy solution is to buy a new controller but it's too expensive. So yeah I'm playing it on hurt me plenty until I get a new controller/left Joy con. I've beaten it on the PS4 now going for Nintendo switch version.
