Breath taking game for sure. Love every part of the game, but the most absolute thing was script. There was huge, wonderful and alive world…!
+Im Korean and never expected Parasite scene appear on this video🤣
DEVELOPER
ARRIVING
ON THE SCENE
This man's Conceptualization and Logic skills are maxed.
You did everything right. This is the Crime and Punishment of the game world.
presents intuitive designed thOught cabinet
Me not realizing there is a thought cabinet until day 3
DE 2 starts with Kim and Harry getting it on, letsgoo
Smart guy. He knows that his focus groups are always lying to him. It's almost never a good idea to ask people what they want. They usually don't know and they lack the experience to make something up that actually works.
5:48 General-semantics strikes again!
7:24 And that's a wrap on anyone struggling with maths, or anything else. It's not you, it's the language used to 'teach' it. Believe it or not, some people don't want you to learn. They want you dumb and reliant.
The artwork is so spectacular but I was forced to look at the bottom right of the screen almost the entire time. It also had an exorbitant amount of prose. Perhaps I'll give this game another chance. Don't get me wrong, it's a terrific concept for a game. I just wasn't fully immersed.
So Cuno is inspired by Twitter lol
This guy is so well-spoken you can definitely see how a person like him could have developed a game like DE
Wj
this guy is a genius
The church quest line itself is worth it to buy and play this game.
very high concept
Such a fun, twisted game. I'm only a few hours in, but I've got so many tasks to do lol…and I can't wait to see how the dialog winds with all over them 🙂 great RPG, certainly a spiritual successor to Planescape, the kind of depth I haven't seen from a popular RPG game in that time, over 20 years!
Final Cut is an absolute gem of a game…I can only imagine what a full-blown sequel would look like, suggesting "Baldur's Gate II" (perhaps the greatest CRPG ever made) as a reference is very ambitious!
First off, amazing game and so insightful to see the creation process a bit. But this guy's voice is so relaxing I swear I fell asleep twice 😂
Just finished the game. It's the best thing that has happened to me all year.
Neverwinter Nights actually had textbox to the side, I think it definitely pioneered this composition.
Just started this game, tis the definition of different.
This guy is on the money about text and comprehension and it shows, he's such an excellent communicator in this video alone
So you're telling me the Valley of the Heads is an in-joke alluding to the Thought Cabinet?
This guys English is better than mine
Lol I wanna work for him (and I ain't in the video game business… and I don't play many games).
I just finished playing this and firewatch
hmmm, i was scared of the thought cabinet on my entire first playthrough. i definitely will dig into it more next time
"combat sequence as a car accident" – that's genius!
Just beat Disco last night, and I must say, it has to be one of the most unique and fun experiences i've had in a game, ever. Cannot wait to see what else this studio has in store.
Can’t wait for the next disco!
This guy sounds like the bridge between narrative prose and video game as a storytelling medium
Loved this game. When it came to an end, I immediately wanted more.
Game advice: at your fourth playthrough use cheats to set all your stats to 7+. It will allow you to experience how it was being Harry before he lost his memory.
The two main loot items in DE are ideas for your thought cabinet, and nice trousers. What a game.
