  1. Wow, James Turner is really an amazing art director! Imagine what this game could be if only it was developed by a company who cares about Pokémon ?

  2. I think the reason Im so hyped for SW/SH is cause its a uk inspired region, I live in Scotland and the environments we have here can be stunning and I love seeing that UK scenic moments replicated in this pokemon game.

  3. How can anyone be excited to play this pathetic looking mobile game is beyond me. It just goes to show that nostalgia is one hell of a drug that causes Pokemon fanboys to have such low standards for video games.

  4. It’s a shame that they really well incapsulated the UK countryside but as far as we’ve seen the normal areas and industrial areas are completely different to reality. Most normal towns aren’t really represented, like where I live :/

  5. To be honest, while I’m disappointed with the graphics of the game, the actual art style and direction is very nice so well done that man.

  6. Anyone else from the UK that's not hyped that it's based on the UK? Like, I see more than enough of the damn place. Give me exotic locations again. Not reminders of football hooligans and royalty. (The Lake District is nice though. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that in the game.)

  7. So glad to see so much love and appreciation for this beautiful work =)

And 0:14 , nice artwork but I feel the actual games actually look better than the concept. How many times can one say that I wonder!

  8. I just watched the Pokemon interview about Sword and Shield and wanted to also say thank you for talking about Sobble too because it will be my Starter in Sword and now I really can't wait to meet it!!!

  9. Reminds me of the Cotswold villages in England, really some of the best beautiful places on earth. I think the shire (lord of the rings) was partly based on these villages too. UK countryside is amazing.

  10. I love how the new Pokemon Games' are drawing inspiration from real world countries and regions. As a fan of RPG's this allows me to easier immerse myself into the world and appreciate the vision the developers had in mind.

  11. Gives me a bit of hope that people from other countries can have a spot at being like James and we can have so much diversity in the Pokémon games and the Pokémon themselves
