  1. As much as I like the idea of Egyptian Mythology, I’d personally love to see God of War take on Japanese mythology. It’s a more bizarre and colorful world and I think Kratos would feel out of his element. Though they would probably have to be choosie over what Yokai they use… might seem kinda weird if Kratos we’re to fight a sentient umbrella.

  2. This Cory guy, seems like the Franchise is in very good hands. Well spoken and understanding of character creation

  3. In the story, how does it switch mythology’s? Because just switching mythology doesn’t make any since to me

  4. glad they picked norse instead of egyptian, it was a tough choice but yeah norse wasnt really done before in terms of gaming except marvel was doing with it, thor on 360 was cancerous. they could always do egyptian later on the ps5 or ps6 with a new god, not kratos. i can imagine kratos wanting to fucking retire lmao

  5. I think the next God of War game having some Christianity mixed in would be awesome, not just because I'm a Christian but I genuinely want to see how Kratos and Atreus would explore it and what impact it'd bring

  6. Other pantheons that can possibly be fantastic for GOW.
    Celtic
    Hindu
    Persian
Egyptian with some West African thrown in.
Judeo Christian, this one will be awesome, Kratos can encounter Lucifer and the princess of Hell, Archangels, Biblical Prophets and heroes like David and Sampson and numerous others.
Although this will be the subject of huge controversy.

  7. Honestly, even if they went the Egyptian route, they would have DESTROYED Assassin's Creed. Why? It has an uninteresting main character, didn't explain the origin of the hidden blade or the leap of faith, a POINTLESS open world and weird mission design where there's a rush to get to an objective story marker but you can spend the next 40 hours hunting before going to it, historical figures who ultimately didn't matter. (sigh) I'm so tired of how bad AC has become.

  8. Honestly, had Cory chosen to go with Egypt, knowing what he brought to Norse Mythology, he would have destroyed Assassin's Creed. AC is such bullshit now. Hopefully it gets better with Ubisoft being destroyed with scandals and their top ppl being replaced
