  1. Ooh, that is making me feel worse about the Switch. I didn't even think about how the right JoyCon controller had the stick of the controller in the middle. And considering how much extra the regular controller would be on top of the console… that's a lot of cash to shell out for a system that has no library.

I'll stick to my original plan, wait til 2018 and reassess.

  2. Okay, I have a question (a stupid one maybe?) can u play nintendo switch as a handheld all the time? I'm currently aboard for studying, and here I don't have a TV (I don't really watch TV since I have a really good internet connection)

  3. Nintendo keeps trying to appease the casual gaming market which has already moved on from home consoles to iOS and Android platforms. I wish they would go back to being a comparatively powerful system that had all the third party support of the other guys, while still making very good first party titles.
When NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube were released, they were at least AS powerful as the systems that came out before them… if not more powerful. You didn't have to own a Nintendo system plus another one to play all the great third party games out there.
Also, I want some more variety in their first party lineup. Too many happy-go-lucky/peppy games. I like a good mix of those AND darker titles. NES and SNES were the zenith for them of that approach.
I don't want to see Nintendo move away from home console gaming, but I foresee them doing that very thing.

  4. They should have shipped it with the pro controller instead of the joy cons as a home console and give you the option to buy the joycons if you want to play on the go it would have made the bungle cheaper also

  5. I don't know why people say it's a gimmick. The 3DS 3D was a gimmick because nobody really used it. But here everything works so well together. You have many ways to play. If you don't like the joy cons you can buy the pro controller or stick the joy cons on the pad thing. Looking forward to march !

  6. i think most people will use it with the controllers just seperate form any form of docking i know i fully plan on just spreading out and relaxing and getting as comfortable as possible

  7. I first tout that the switch would be as big as a grid pad tabled, but nope it's just as small as a phabled,

with this in mind ,you could just consider it as a portible system, am mean even the atari lynx was just huge.

Yeah the switch does have a dock station but if apple want it, they can come with a dock station for their ipad too and then call their ipad suddenly a hybrid system, and if nintendo want it,they can sell those switch stations saperatly and call the switch a portible system,

now just imagine if there will be a switch revision without dock support .

In short nintendo can alway's redecide what to do with the switch haha.

  8. I tried it at GameStop I’m getting it on Friday the I’m used to the ps4 and Xbox controllers but I’ll get used to it 🙂 no d-pad and just arrows makes me uncomfortable

  9. The tiny cramped controller is probably the main reason I haven't bought this controller. I hope they come out with XL sized joycons before Metroid is released because I remember how uncomfortable Metroid Prime Hunters was on the DS. Deja Vu.

  10. No one can make me believe this controller is ergonomic. Its height is too much in addition left joystick is high. Incredible , u make a hand console and look at design this is really ridiculous man. I have vita yea this system beats vita and I d like to buy but the design is total bullshit. Also normal wii controlers are bullshit. Nintendo please get new designers this is horrible.

  11. Playing this thing in Mario Kart 8 straight up kills your energy. Playing with the whole tablet in your hand gets tiring eventually and it's really uncomfortable for giant apelike hands like adults. Nintendo only focuses on their kids. It even surprises me they bother have M rated titles on it.
