  1. this is still the worst video game press conference of all time lmao Microsoft let mattrick ruin their product and focus. Then the dude gets canned lmao

  2. Some people wonder why it's called Xbox One. It's because it's to bring your games, movies and TV, entertainment, and all the fun in just "One" console.

  4. Great product and way ahead of its time. I wish they focused more on gaming and less on TV , this would’ve been an instant hit. Great example of how a good product marketed badly can go to gutter

  5. Watching this now 2021 November
Just Amazing this should be shown in school in how to not launch a product XD
Thanks SSFF for reminding me of this

  6. XBox One means more hot girl gamers. PlayStation 4 means a bunch of nerds who complain because slightly lesser graphics and an extra hundred dollars because they have no job or a life. I can't wait to play the new XBox Live with my friends. It's gonna be a blast!

  7. Weirdly enough, I fell in love with Xbox One instead of PS4 after its reveal event. All bad things aside. It had one of the most promising technologies of the game industry and motion capturing in the face of Kinect, which could potentially grow big and always on online is basically how it all works nowx they were too early and tired to do it too soon.
Not to mention the bad timing this happened as smart TVs were becoming a thing and if back in the 360 days many people used Xbox exclusively as a media player or a Hulu/Netflix machine, then with smart tv, the media box became irrelevant.
All jokes aside, the mindset and idea behind it was briliant, innovative and ahead of its time, yet tge presentation and execution didn't deliver. Still, for some reason I do enjoy that event thinking of what could hage been if done right…

  8. the worst conference, with the worst timing, with the worst focused product, with the worst feedback from its users, the worst conference horror only at the level of the wiiu conference in 2011

  9. I remember this lol. I always thought the name “Xbox One” was terrible name. Not to mentioned that features like live tv and Internet Explorer made them look out of touch. Thankfully, Phil Spencer saved the brand. Otherwise, Sony would’ve monopolized the gaming industry.
